Crux Adds New Faces to Leadership

Crux, a cloud-based data integration and operations solution, has recently announced the addition of two new members to its leadership team: Jonathan W. Buckley as Chief Marketing Officer and Karen Moran as Chief Financial Officer. These appointments come as the company experiences significant growth and continues to expand its offerings in the external data technology market.

As CMO, Jonathan Buckley will be responsible for managing the Crux brand and driving the company's go-to-market strategy. Buckley brings with him years of experience in marketing leadership roles, having previously served as CMO for a variety of companies, including Nirvanix and Qubole. In his new role, Buckley aims to help Crux tell its story and communicate the company's impact to a wider marketplace.

Karen Moran, the new CFO, brings deep expertise in the technology sector to Crux. Prior to joining the company, Moran served as CFO at H1 Insights, a healthcare IT data and analytics platform, and as SVP, Strategic Finance, for Alteryx, a data and analytics software provider. Moran will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, and investor relations.

According to Crux CEO Will Freiberg, the addition of Buckley and Moran to the leadership team comes at a critical juncture for the company. As demand for external data continues to grow, Crux is scaling rapidly after securing an additional $50 million in venture funding. With its innovative data integration and operations solution, Crux is well-positioned to disrupt the external data integration space.

Crux's cloud-based data integration and operations solution accelerates the value realization between external and internal data. The company partners with its customers to ensure they get the data they need, how they need it, and where they need it. Crux builds data pipelines at scale and operates over 50K pre-engineered pipelines, delivering public and third-party datasets to the destination of choice. Crux pipelines come with embedded data monitoring, validations, and transformations, and are supported 24x7 by its global operations team.

With strong momentum heading into 2023, Crux is poised for continued success. The addition of Buckley and Moran to the leadership team further strengthens the company's position as a major player in the external data technology market.
